About ChemWarden Learn
ChemWarden Learn is a free chemistry reference, organised as one map from GCSE to research level. It is part of ChemWarden, which builds chemical-safety software for laboratories.
How the content is made
- Written and checked by a chemist. No explanation appears on this site until it has been reviewed and marked as verified. Unwritten levels say so plainly rather than showing filler.
- Key equations are the standard textbook forms. Conventions differ between courses (sign of work, standard pressure, units), so check against your syllabus.
- Preprints come from ChemRxiv's metadata in Crossref, matched by keyword. We show titles and links only. Preprints have not been peer-reviewed.
Benchmarking the index
The topic map was checked for coverage against the scope of these standard texts. The wording, structure and explanations here are our own; no text is copied from them.
